Early detection of prostate cancer greatly increases your treatment options. Prostate tests include a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test, which measures the level of a protein in your blood that may indicate prostate cancer, or a digital rectal exam, which checks for abnormal areas on your prostate through the rectal wall.
