'Mended Hearts' support group meetings for cardiac patients have restarted

UHS Heart & Vascular Institute is excited to restart their new local Mended Hearts chapter. The group holds bi-monthly meetings with the next meeting happening on Tuesday, July 8 from 5:15-6:15pm.

Join us for an evening of music and relaxation with Christina Kontogiannis, MT-BC, NICU MT. Learn the benefits of music therapy and tips on how to use therapeutic music listening to relieve agitation, decrease heart rate and blood pressure, and improve the overall quality of your life.

Mended Hearts is a patient support group that offers hope and educates patients about cardiovascular health and empowers them as they manage a heart-healthy lifestyle.

The meeting will be held at the UHS Heart & Vascular Institute, 30 Harrison St. (enter via Hudson Street), Johnson City. Take the elevator to the second floor, enter the office and proceed left to the waiting room.
