UHS achieves high online reputation score from national organization
UHS has achieved an exceptionally high score from the national organization that measures many healthcare institutions’ performance across a variety of online attributes. UHS has been recognized with an “800 Award” for 2024 by Reputation.com. The award celebrates any healthcare provider or location that has earned a “reputation score” of 800 or greater.
This year, 52 physicians and 23 additional locations at UHS reached or exceeded the 800 level. Scores ranged from 801 to 904. By comparison, the average reputation score among healthcare providers and locations nationwide is 441. To view the list of winning UHS locations and providers, click here.
The score evaluates an organization’s performance across a variety of important online characteristics, such as visibility, engagement and consumer sentiment. The higher the score, the greater the likelihood that the location will stand out among search engine and map results, as well as review sites, showing that they are doing the right things to be seen and selected by new consumers.
The score is calculated on a 1,000-point scale, where 1,000 is the highest possible rating on the scale and 100 the lowest. A score of 800 or above is considered very impressive. Reputation.com launched the award program in 2022 to recognize various businesses across the country. Each year, more UHS sites have hit or exceeded the 800 number: 39 locations in 2022, 62 locations in 2023 and 75 this year.
'“We are honored to receive this outstanding national recognition,” said John Carrigg, president and chief executive officer of UHS. “This is a strong validation of those who provide care at our hospitals and offices, and their commitment to providing a great patient experience.”
Continuing, Mr. Carrigg said: “On behalf of the entire UHS team, I very much appreciate every physician, advanced practice provider and staff member at every location for making this recognition possible, as they continue to uphold ‘The UHS Way’ and the Values of our organization.”
Said Danielle Donlin, vice president for Physician Practices at UHS: “A solid online reputation is essential today, as more and more consumers turn to the web to read reviews prior to choosing and seeking care. The score received truly reflects the exceptional, patient-centered care offered by our locations.”
