January 27, 2026

UHS Delaware Valley Hospital (UHS DVH) announced that its Emergency Department (ED) has been named a 2025 Human Experience (HX) Guardian of Excellence Award® winner by Press Ganey, the global leader in healthcare experience solutions and services. This award is part of Press Ganey’s annual ranking of the top hospitals and health systems in the country.

Press Ganey works with more than 41,000 healthcare facilities in its mission to reduce patient suffering and enhance caregiver resilience to improve the overall safety, quality and experience of care.

“UHS Delaware Valley Hospital is showing what it truly means to deliver compassionate, person-centered care,” said Patrick T. Ryan, Chairman and CEO of Press Ganey. “Their deep commitment to both patients and caregivers is creating a culture where empathy drives action—and where people feel seen, heard, and supported. It’s a privilege to stand beside them on this journey.”

As a winner of the Press Ganey HX Guardian of Excellence Award®, the UHS-DVH ED is being nationally recognized for scoring in the top 5 percent of Press Ganey clients, showing highest levels of standards in patient experience.

"We are tremendously honored to receive the 2025 Press Ganey Human Experience Guardian of Excellence Award,” said Rolland “Boomer” Bojo, UHS-DVH President & CEO. “I’m incredibly proud of our ED staff for achieving a distinction that places us among the very best in healthcare, and we look forward to continuing this important work for our community."

As UHS-DVH celebrates this distinguished recognition, the organization is already building on this momentum through its Medical Neighborhood project—an initiative designed to strengthen care coordination, expand access, and create a more seamless experience for patients across the region. By uniting providers, services, and community partners around a shared commitment to exceptional care, the Medical Neighborhood advances the very principles honored by this award. Together, these efforts underscore UHS-DVH’s dedication not only to delivering outstanding patient experience today, but also to shaping a more connected, compassionate, and patient centered healthcare future for the communities it serves.
