Lee Trevino shares unforgettable stories at the UHS Health Expo
July 10, 2025
A full crowd listened intently as golf legend Lee Trevino told stories about his legendary golf career during the UHS Health Expo at the DICK'S Open on Wednesday, July 9.
Trevino chatted with SiriusXM host Dave Marr about his youth and the beginning of his career, some of his big victories on the PGA tour and what the game of golf has meant to him. The legend also took questions from the crowd, gladly sharing more of his wisdom and insights into the game of golf.
At 85 years old, Lee Trevino remains active in golf, playing daily and sharing his expertise with others. In December 2024, he conducted a short game and bunker play clinic at Punta Mita Golf Club in Mexico, engaging attendees with his signature humor and storytelling. He continues to practice daily, spending 90 minutes each morning, focusing on his short game skills at his local golf club.
Trevino's presentation came after the free, interactive, walk-through exposition, which featured a variety of demonstrations, screenings, health information, a delicious smoothie sample and prizes and giveaways.
Next up? UHS, in partnership with the DICK’S Open, will host a free Family Fun Night at En-Joie, featuring the original “Lilo & Stitch” movie, followed by a fireworks display, on Saturday, July 12, at 7:30pm. The family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
