October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the UHS Breast Center is hitting the ground running with a month full of fundraisers to raise money for Sock Out Cancer and the American Cancer Society.

Join Team UHS at Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
Team UHS is joining community members for this year's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk being held on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at the Mirabito Baseball Stadium. Registration begins at 9am. This is an important event as we raise money and awareness to help support breast cancer patients and their families.

UHS Breast Center’s annual Basket Raffle
The UHS Breast Center has collected baskets to raffle off at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Sunday, October 12. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the following locations.

Tickets are $1 for 1 ticket or $5 for six and can be placed in whichever basket(s) you choose. Payroll deduction is available. You do not need to be present at the event to win.
Your support of this fundraiser is encouraged as 100% of the proceeds will benefit Sock Out Cancer and the American Cancer Society. Stop by, purchase some tickets, and join Team UHS in the fight against breast cancer!

Lost Dog Café's "Pink Ribbon" Fundraiser

Support the UHS Breast Center and show off your fighting spirit with a limited edition tee!
The Lost Dog Café in Binghamton will contribute a portion of proceeds from the sales of this shirt and the restaurant's special October cocktail, the “Pink Ribbon," starting October 1.
Only a limited number of shirts will be printed, so make sure to order yours in advance. Preorders will take place until Thursday, September 25.

"Dine to Donate" at Texas Roadhouse

On Monday, October 6, Texas Roadhouse in Vestal will be partnering with UHS for a "Dine to Donate" fundraising event.
Present this flyer at the restaurant, located at 4399 Vestal Parkway East, and 10% of your total food bill will be donated to the UHS Breast Center's fundraising efforts.
Come and show your support anytime between 3pm and 10pm!

Station 45 Guest Bartending Night

Danielle Donlin, Vice President, Physician Practices, and Stacey Rosman, NP, of the UHS Breast Center, will be guest bartenders for a fundraiser at Station 45 American Chop House from 5pm to 8pm on Monday, October 20.
Appetizers and drinks will be available for purchase.
