UHS annually celebrates the members of its team who provide selfless, compassionate service to benefit hospital patients and nursing home residents.
The volunteers come from an impressive array of backgrounds and work in nearly every department at the hospitals and in the senior living areas.
During the past year, 488 volunteers gave 58, 374 hours of service throughout UHS Binghamton General Hospital, UHS Wilson Medical Center and UHS Senior Living at Ideal.

With the theme of "UHS Volunteers Always Needed Forever Appreciated," the volunteers will be honored at a special recognition banquet, on Tuesday, April 9, 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Traditions at the Glen.

At UHS Delaware Valley Hospital, 23 volunteers turned in 2,332 hours of service during 2018. They will be honored on April 17 at the hospital's annual appreciation luncheon at the hospital’s Board Room.

At UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital, a volunteer recognition luncheon will beheld on May 24, 2019, at the Canasawacta Country Club. Last year, 95 volunteers provided 12,558 hours of service throughout various areas in the hospital.
