It can be tough to distinguish where to go for medical care when your symptoms feel unbearable, and your primary care provider is unavailable. There are some key difference to help you decide if you should visit the Virtual Walk-In, a Walk-In Center or Emergency Department.

Avoid the waiting room and get care from home with UHS Virtual Walk-In. This service connects you with UHS physicians and advanced practice providers via phone, tablet or computer to treat common ailments like headaches, minor muscle strains, lingering coughs or fevers.

If you or someone you care about is experiencing uncontrollable shaking for brief periods of time, this may be Essential Tremor. Learn how UHS uses sound waves to treat essential tremor with no incisions, for immediate and sustained tremor relief at our upcoming informative session on September 18.
