Ostomy Support Group
UHS offers a free, bi-monthly support group for patients living with colostomy, ileostomy, jejunostomy, urostomy, gastrostomy, nephrostomy and intestinal fistulas. The group is led by a team of certified wound ostomy continence nurses and those in training. We share experiences, supply issues, updates on techniques, community and education programs and emotional support. We also provide donated supplies.
Meetings take place every other month from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at UHS Wilson Medical Center, Main Tower 3 Conference Room.
Parking
The parking lot is on Arch Street, across from the main hospital entrance. When you arrive, it is an easy walk. Come to the main desk at the entrance and check in.
Take the elevator behind the main desk up to Main Tower 3. Staff will unlock the door to let you into the conference room.
