UHS Occupational Medicine offers the following drug and alcohol testing services:

UHS Occupational Medicine performs urine collections for substance use testing and breath alcohol testing in Express Care, Suite 204 of the Summit Building, 33 Mitchell Avenue, Binghamton, New York 13903 and at 54 E Main Street, Norwich NY 13815.

Non-DOT urine drug screen Panel  5 Amphetamines, Cocaine Metabolites, Marijuana Metabolites, Opiates and Phen

UHS Occupational Medicine will provide follow-up testing on two frequency levels usually not less than six (6) times per year or more than three (3) times per week. UHS Occupational Medicine charges a per employee/per year fee for this service.

Companies requiring after hours services will be billed an Annual Fee in addition to the fee for service. To access after hours services, the Company must contact the UHS Binghamton General Hospital switchboard at (607) 762-2200.

All breath alcohol tests are performed by certified “Breath Alcohol Technicians” and include confirmation of positive results.

UHS Occupational Medicine may act as the collection site only  for drug testing.

Hair testing for drugs of abuse is the only drug testing method available that provides up to a 90-day drug use history.

Medical Review Officer (MRO) services are available for interpretation of drug test results.  The MRO is a licensed physician who is certified by the American Association of Medical Review Officers and knowledgeable in the medical use of prescript
