The Main Entrance Driveway at UHS Wilson Medical Center will be closed beginning at 9:00 PM on Friday, August 21 through approximately 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 22 to allow contractors to safely remove a cracked glass pane from the entrance awning. Work is scheduled to begin at 7:00 AM on Saturday, August 22.
Traffic and Access Changes
- All vehicle traffic, patient drop-offs and pick-ups, and patient discharges will be redirected to the Decker Center Entrance.
- Pedestrians traveling from the Gateway Parking Lot to the Main Entrance may:
- Use the entrance on Main Tower from Baldwin St, or
- The handicapped ramps located along the side of the Main Entrance Driveway will remain accessible.
Visitor Management, Ambassadors and Security staff will be assigned to conduct normal weapon and visitor screenings for any individuals arriving through the Decker Center Lobby.
Additional Ambassadors will be present at the Main Entrance and on Baldwin Street to assist arriving individuals, as needed.
Barricades and Security staff will be posted at both ends of the driveway to prevent vehicle traffic.
