June 12, 2025
UHS Delaware Valley Hospital’s (DVH) Annual BBQ was held on Wednesday, June 11. DVH staff, board members, UHS System leaders, and community partners were treated to a delicious BBQ lunch, ice cream and performances by the UHS Choir.
Rolland "Boomer" Bojo, UHS Delaware Valley Hospital President & CEO, thanked attendees for their support and provided updates regarding the upcoming Medical Neighborhood project – an expansion set to provide residents with access to high-quality, comprehensive healthcare for generations to come.
Bojo reported that DVH is one step closer in the process of obtaining the Certificate of Need from the Department of Health, in addition to securing the necessary power for the project from NYSEG and finalizing the purchase of 2 acres of property that will provide much-needed parking.
“It’s an exciting time here at DVH and I want to thank all of you for being part of this journey, for your trust and for supporting this vision,” said Bojo. “It is such a privilege to work alongside all you and I look forward to all we will accomplish in the next few years.”
John Carrigg, UHS System CEO & President, Ed Snow, DVH Board Member, and Bjorn Eilertsen, Mayor of Walton, also addressed the crowd and shared their support and excitement for the future of UHS Delaware Valley Hospital.
