A large contingent of UHS staff members turned out Oct. 15 for the 2023 edition of the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk at Otsiningo Park in Binghamton.

Decked out in bright pink shirts, Team UHS members also staffed a large tent, selling tickets in the ever-popular basket raffle fundraiser.
Presented by the American Cancer Society, the annual Southern Tier regional walk raises valuable dollars and public awareness in the battle against breast disease.
Whether you’re a breast cancer survivor or have a loved one who is, the disease has touched nearly everyone in some way.
But at the same time, walking, supporting walkers and giving of your time and money can be a way of doing something about it.
