New Horizons team takes part in Sober Fest

In an effort to connect with the community, the New Horizons team participated in 2023 Sober Fest this past weekend in Chenango Forks.

The event, designed to celebrate the sober lifestyle, included camping, riverside yoga, food trucks, non-alcoholic beverages, music, shopping vendors and fun.

The New Horizons Team of Erika Rogers, Erica Gardner, Samantha Edwards ,Marissa Bidwell and Dj Costick were able to train 37 community members in overdose response and hand out Narcan kits. They were also able to connect community members to UHS resources such as MyChart and New Horizons.
