Enhance Delaware Valley Hospital Capital Campaign Receives Grant From Mee Foundation

June 16, 2026

The George A. and Margaret Mee Charitable Foundation will support the Enhance Delaware Valley Hospital Capital Campaign with a grant of $500,000.

UHS Delaware Valley Hospital (DVH) is proud to announce a significant milestone in the Enhance Delaware Valley Hospital Capital Campaign with the receipt of a generous $500,000 commitment from the George A. and Margaret Mee Charitable Foundation. This leadership grant is a powerful investment in the future of rural healthcare and brings the campaign one step closer to its $3 million goal.

The Enhance DVH Capital Campaign was launched to support development of the new Delaware Valley Hospital Medical Neighborhood, an approximately 73,000-square-foot expansion designed to transform healthcare delivery across Delaware County and the surrounding region.

“This extraordinary gift is both impactful and inspiring,” said Rolland “Boomer” Bojo, president and CEO of UHS Delaware Valley Hospital. “The Mee Charitable Foundation has demonstrated a deep commitment to the health and well-being of our community. Their support will directly benefit our patients, families, and staff for generations to come.”

“The Mee Charitable Foundation is pleased to invest in the proposed expansion and modernization of the UHS Delaware Valley Hospital’s new Medical Neighborhood. It is important for the residents of the rural community of Walton, New York and the surrounding region to have greater access to expanded medical services, including specialty care,” said Deborah Manley, executive director of the Mee Charitable Foundation.

Funds raised through the campaign will support key elements of the Medical Neighborhood, including expanded primary care services, modernized therapy spaces, enhanced behavioral health services, and a welcoming, patient-centered environment. The project also prioritizes improved access to care by helping reduce travel burdens for rural residents and ensuring that high-quality healthcare remains close to home.

“We are incredibly grateful for the Foundation’s generosity,” said Cindy Ray, director of business development and fundraising at DVH. “This gift not only advances our campaign but also sends a strong message about the importance of investing in rural healthcare.”

Construction of the Medical Neighborhood is expected to be completed by the end of 2027.
