What to expect

Your annual women’s health exam is focused on your overall wellness. At this visit, you can expect:

• A conversation about your health, periods or menopause symptoms, birth control or family-planning needs, and any concerns
• Review of medications, family history, and lifestyle
• Vital signs and a general physical exam
• Breast exam
• Pelvic exam if needed — your provider will explain why and ask first
• Screening tests like a Pap or STI testing based on your age and health needs
• Time to ask questions and talk about anything that matters to you
