UHS earns expanded recognition for best-in-class online reputation

June 29, 2026

UHS has once again been recognized by Reputation.com, a platform that measures the online performance of healthcare organizations nationwide.

The annual Reputation Awards recognize healthcare providers and locations earning a high “reputation score,” reflecting strong patient satisfaction among consumers leaving online reviews.

This year, 128 UHS providers and locations in total were recognized, up from 94 last year. This includes 34 winners of the “900 Award,” honoring providers and locations who have earned a reputation score of 900 or greater. Last year, UHS had just two awardees at this level. This significant increase in recognition in just one year is a testament to how our teams across the UHS System are continuously improving the patient experience.

An additional 94 providers and locations have been awarded the “800 Award,” recognizing those who earned a score of 800 or greater.

“At UHS, our mission is to deliver safe, effective, patient-centered care. This recognition demonstrates that we are fulfilling this mission every day through the hard work of our dedicated teams,” said John M. Carrigg, president and chief executive officer of UHS. “The growth in recognition each year speaks volumes about our culture of continuous improvement across UHS, in which our delivery of care is always evolving to meet the needs of our patients.”

The reputation score evaluates an organization’s online performance across several factors including visibility, engagement with consumers who leave online reviews, and the sentiment of reviews that have been posted. The higher the score, the greater the likelihood the location or provider will stand out among search engine and map results, as well as review sites.

Scores are calculated on a 1,000-point scale, where 1,000 is the highest possible rating on the scale and 100 the lowest. A score of 800 or above is considered very impressive. Less than 3% of all Reputation.com-powered locations have reached the elite 900 distinction. The average reputation score among healthcare providers and locations nationwide is 542.

"The 128 providers and locations recognized this year encompass both inpatient and outpatient care and represent a wide variety of service lines, treating patients with compassion and expertise across the region we serve," said Danielle Donlin, vice president for Physician Practices at UHS. “The scope of this recognition sends a powerful message: when you choose UHS, you can expect a positive, patient-centered experience that is truly tailored to your needs.”

Reputation.com launched the award program in 2022 to recognize various businesses across the country. The number of UHS sites that have been awarded for reaching or exceeding a score of 800 has continued to rise each year.
