UHS Oncology Services hosted its 4th annual Cancer Survivors Day Picnic on Sunday, June 7th, 2026 at Otsiningo Park in Binghamton, in honor of National Cancer Survivors Day 2026. The theme this year was “Better Together” – highlighting the importance of survivorship, support, and community for patients in every stage of their cancer journeys.
This year's picnic welcomed 130 current patients, survivors and their families, along with employees and community members, who came together to enjoy a picnic lunch catered by UHS Nutrition Services. Guests also enjoyed ice cream from the Cone Connection ice cream truck, visits from our friends at Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs Inc., and fantastic raffle prizes donated by employees and community members. It was a beautiful day to make connections and memories while celebrating the resilience and strength of those touched by cancer.
