    UHS was proud to bring its annual Health Expo to the DICK’S Open at En-Joie Golf Club on Wednesday, June 24. At the free, walk-through event, various UHS teams from a wide variety of service lines enjoyed a beautiful afternoon connecting with community members to provide health information, screenings, demonstrations and activities, giveaway items, raffle prizes, and more.

    Area students will once again have an opportunity to explore careers in healthcare through a unique summer program hosted by UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital. The Career Days camp, hosted annually by UHS Chenango Memorial with support from the Otis Thompson Foundation, is a two-day, hands-on career exploration program designed for students entering grades 8 through 12.

    A program to recognize the care and compassion of extraordinary nurses continues at UHS with Audriann Campbell, RN, Main Tower 4, UHS Wilson Medical Center, being named the most recent winner of the DAISY Award! Audriann was recognized and presented with the award for the achievement and enjoyed cinnamon rolls, a symbolic treat in honor of Patrick Barnes, whose experience inspired the award.
