Respiratory/Pulmonary Services
Respiratory Care Services is dedicated to effective airway management, accurate and timely medication delivery and documentation, assuring appropriate clinical service line utilization while maintaining excellence in safe patient care. Our Respiratory Therapy Department is staffed by licensed Registered Respiratory Care Providers and over seen by our Medical Director. We are responsible for providing a broad range of high quality respiratory care and pulmonary medicine services to meet the hospital's in-patient and out-patient needs. We service every Unit within our facility and follow our patients from admission to discharge.
Some of the respiratory/pulmonary medicine services we provide include, but are not limited to:
- Ventilator and airway management
- Ion Robotic Bronchoscopy
- Implementation of Highly Specialized and Selective Ventilatory Modalities reflective of our diverse patient population
- Medical gas administration (O2 and Heliox)
- Patient assessment and consultation
- High Risk Assessment for Pain Management patients= not live yet, soon to come omit for now
- Delivery of Respiratory Medication
- Member of the Trauma, Rapid Response and Cardiac Arrest Teams
- Member of the Tracheostomy Care team
- NICU ground Transport
- Attending all high risk deliveries
- Pulmonary Function Testing for both Adult and Pediatric
- Polysomnography Testing
- Collection and Interpretation of Blood gas sampling
- Asthma Education
- Smoking Cessation
