UHS’ new Palliative Care Unit has opened on Krembs 6 at UHS Binghamton General Hospital.  The unit began admitting patients as of Aug. 1.  There are six private patient rooms, plus spaces for their loved ones to rest and recharge. 

UHS Delaware Valley Hospital is excited to once again sponsor the Cutest Baby Contest at the Delaware County Fair, happening August 14-19 in Walton, NY.

On Tuesday August 1, Team UHS attended the Johnson City National Night Out event at the Schorr Family Firehouse Stage. The event was hosted by the JCPD, Schorr Family Firehouse Stage, and the Johnson City Rotary Club.

August 1-7 marks International Breastfeeding Week. At UHS, we take pride in our support and empowerment of Breastfeeding through staff education and patient resources.

Our UHS New Horizon's team recently participated in St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Endicott's Annual Eunice Barton Ice Cream Social. The event is designed to be family fun for the community while bringing everyone together to connect.

A program to recognize the care and compassion of extraordinary nurses continues at UHS with Kailey Huff, RN, UHS Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), being named the June winner of the DAISY
