On Thursday, February 12, UHS hosted a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of UHS Pediatrics Upper Front Street. The practice, which previously served patients on Chenango Bridge Road, welcomed its first patients at the new location on February 2.
The event offered an opportunity to reflect on the long history and accomplishments of the pediatrics office at Chenango Bridge Road, while also marking the start of its next chapter in a modern, newly renovated space. The transition to UHS Upper Front Street represents not only a physical change, but an important step forward in supporting the practice’s growth and enhancing the patient experience.
“With this transition, the practice now embarks on an exciting new chapter, serving patients in a modern, thoughtfully designed facility that enhances operational efficiency and creates an improved, seamless experience for both patients and staff,” said UHS President and CEO John M. Carrigg.
Pediatrics now joins Primary Care, Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation, and Lab Services, which opened at the renovated facility on Monday, December 15.
The ceremony also marked the completion of the UHS Upper Front Street expansion project, which transformed a formerly vacant space that stood beside the UHS Primary Care office into a modern, comprehensive facility offering a variety of essential services under one roof.
The expanded UHS Upper Front Street is now fully open and ready to serve patients. To find a provider and schedule an appointment today, visit nyuhs.org.
