UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital launches “Her Health Matters: Conversations on Women’s Health"

October 15, 2025

UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital is collaborating with Canasawacta Country Club to launch a dynamic new series designed to educate, empower, and engage women in the greater Chenango County community.

“Women’s health is personal, and too often overlooked. We’ve created this series to open up the dialogue and ensure women in our community feel seen, heard, and supported at every stage of life,” said Melissa Stagnaro, Director of Development & Engagement at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital.

The series gives women ages 30 through 60+ the opportunity to gather in a relaxed, social setting and connect directly with medical professionals on the health topics that matter most to them.

“From perimenopause and menopause to hormone health, pelvic floor health, nutrition, and more—no topic is off the table,” explained Ms. Stagnaro.

Each session will feature expert-led discussions from some of UHS Chenango Memorial’s most trusted clinical providers, providing real, evidence-based information in a friendly, approachable format.

The series will kick off on Wednesday, October 29 with a conversation about Perimenopause & Menopause presented by Lorrie Vail, FNP from UHS Women’s Health Center Norwich. See the flyer for this event below.

“Those who join us will have the opportunity to order from the menu and bar while participating in meaningful, down-to-earth conversations that aim to inform and inspire,” Ms. Stagnaro said.
