The UHS Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at UHS Wilson Medical Center turned the holidays into a heartwarming celebration for families welcoming their newest members.
Kailey Veruto, RN volunteered to be Santa this year - she came in on her day off, even with the snow! Debra Kiehle, RN came up with the idea to have their photo taken so they look like they are the present. Anna Zeyak, NA made the Best Gift Ever sign for the presents. Mercedez Merton, RN took the photos. Linda Bowker, RN handmade the beautiful "1st Christmas" hats. And lastly, Maria Thompson, RN, purchased Christmas outfits.
We are grateful to our dedicated nurses for creating a warm and festive atmosphere in the NICU this holiday season. From all of us at UHS, Happy Holidays!
See the photos below of these precious little ones!
