Large turnout as Team UHS shows support at annual "Making Strides" walk

Many UHS staff members turned out October 12 for the 2025 edition of the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk at Mirabito Stadium in Binghamton.

Team UHS posed for a group photo prior to the walk wearing their best pink apparel to show their support for the event. UHS employees also staffed a large tent, selling tickets in the ever-popular basket raffle fundraiser.

Presented by the American Cancer Society, the annual Southern Tier regional walk raises money and promotes public awareness in the battle against breast disease.

Whether you’re a breast cancer survivor or have a loved one who is, the disease has touched many lives in one way or another. Events such as Making Strides are a meaningful way to unite our community in the fight against breast cancer.
