At UHS Wilson Medical Center, parents Elizabeth Morales and Jose Alvaro Asensio received an extra special Christmas gift this year, welcoming their baby girl on Christmas morning. Aylani Larissa Asensio arrived at 6:48 a.m., at 20 inches long and weighing 7 pounds and 1.9 ounces.
Team UHS came together displaying Compassion and Teamwork, welcoming the holiday baby with care and enthusiasm.
The holidays symbolize many different things for many people, whether it’s extra time spent with family and friends, delicious feasts and, of course, a few extra days off from work.
But for hospitals, there’s no shutting down, no half-day closing and no holiday hours – which means some of our dedicated staff are hard at work over the holidays. UHS salutes all of its employees and providers who are on the scene and providing care throughout the holiday season.
UHS congratulates the new parents on their bundle of joy. Christmas babies always make the holidays bright for our Maternity staff!
