Pelvic Floor Talk for Women

Please join us on September 16 from 5 to 7 pm for a Pelvic Floor Therapy Talk. UHS Physical Therapist Megan Gottlieb, DPT, will share valuable information about pelvic floor health and discuss therapy options to support healing, comfort, and overall well-being. This talk will be held at the UHS Salanger Outpatient Center in the third floor Breast Surgery waiting room. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

In this discussion, you will learn:

  • How the pelvic floor supports bladder, bowel, and sexual health\
  • Common symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction
  • Therapy techniques that can help improve quality of life
  • Tips and resources for managing pelvic health concerns after breast and gynecological cancer treatment

Pelvic floor dysfunction can cause symptoms such as urinary urgency or leakage, constipation, painful intercourse, and pelvic or low back pain. UHS Physical Therapists provide compassionate, specialized care to help patients regain comfort, confidence, and function.
