Oncology Support Group

Come join your Social Workers Kathleen and Kayla on Mondays in March from 1:00pm–2:30pm for our first month long support group series! In these 4 weekly sessions, you’ll make close, lasting connections with peers while learning together ways to build resilience to face the emotional challenges in a cancer treatment journey.

Classes will be held at the Radiation Oncology Department, 30 Harrison Street, Suite 100 Johnson City, NY 13790.

March 9, Session 1: Mapping your journey and reflecting on emotions

March 16, Session 2: Let's reframe: How thinking patterns influence action

March 23, Session 3: Your identity and values, creating meaning during a difficult time

March 30, Session 4: Create your own mental health care plan

This current session is for patients who are in active treatment (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation).
