National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

The UHS Pharmacy is hosting a drive-through event for National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day in conjunction with the Broome County Sheriff's Department. The event will be on Saturday, October 25, from 10 am - 2 pm at the UHS Salanger Outpatient Center. Please pull up under the awning at the front of the building. 

This is a nationwide event sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for the safe disposal of unused or expired prescription and over-the-counter medications. All varieties of medication (controlled substances, tablets, capsules, liquids, inhalers, creams, etc.) will be accepted. 

The Broome County Health Department, Broome County Sheriff's Department, Binghamton University Pharmacy Department and the UHS Pharmacy Department will be on hand for safe collection, to answer questions and be present in the community!
