UHS Infusion Center
The UHS Infusion Center offers IV and injectable treatments such as IV antibiotics, immune globulin, blood product infusion, chemotherapy and more at UHS Binghamton General Hospital (four chairs).
Infusion Center Services
Registered nurses provide compassionate care at the UHS Infusion Center in Binghamton. Patients can receive a wide variety of IV and injectable treatments prescribed by physicians, including the administration of IV medications or antibiotics; Injectable allergy and asthma treatments; IV hydration; infusions of gastrointestinal, neurology and rheumatology treatments; infusion of immune globulin (IVIG), chemotherapy, biologics, blood and blood products; PICC line placement and treatment for bleeding disorders.
Establishing Services
To establish service, contact your provider to verify if they are UHS-credentialed, and to obtain orders. Our staff will initiate your prior authorization, if required, and then contact you to schedule your first appointment. If you’re a new patient or a provider referring a patient, call (607) 763-5855.
Plan Your Appointment
Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled IV or injectable treatment time to allow adequate time for processing and preparing your medication. Remember to take any scheduled medications and eat prior to coming to the center unless otherwise directed by your provider. You can also bring your scheduled medications with you if you need to take them during your infusion. You can watch TV during your appointment, or bring a book, magazine or tablet to read. Free Wi-Fi is also available.

Hours
The infusion center at UHS Binghamton General Hospital is 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
