Financial Assistance
At UHS in Binghamton we believe that a fear of a hospital bill should never be a reason to avoid seeking necessary medical care. If you have concerns about paying, UHS' financial assistance program can help with hospital and provider bills. Discounts are based on family size and income ONLY. No person, regardless of ability to pay, will be refused medical services in accordance with the Internal Revenue Services 501(R)(4) Regulation.

In order to determine the level of Binghamton provider and hospital bill help you may be eligible for, it is necessary to complete a financial assistance application. Information that documents your income such as pay stubs, tax returns and any other financial records that support additional income must be submitted with the
application.
Will all my bills be eligible for financial assistance?
Some services at our facilities are provided by private physician groups, such as radiologists and other specialists and may not be covered by our program.
