UHS employee wins first HYPE healthcare award
Congratulations to Anne DePugh, director of Population Health, UHS, on being the first ever HYPE Award recipient in the healthcare category!
Young professionals from around the Southern Tier were honored at the very first HYPE awards at Traditions at the Glen on July 30. The awards were presented by the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce.
Out of 45 HYPE finalists, Anne is one of 15 young professionals from around the Southern Tier who were recognized for their successful work, talent and dedication in their industry, as well as making a positive change in the community. Multiple areas of professionalism were recognized, including fields ranging from the arts to government, engineering, healthcare, hospitality and finance.
The winners were chosen by a Chamber committee and a community poll of over 3,000 votes.
Ms. DePugh was previously the administrative manager of the UHS Medicaid Health Home department and led the UHS Community-Based Care Coordination staff. Over the past eight years, she has developed a team of 50 vibrant and driven team members who are making an impact in the community through various population health programs.
