Join the Check it! Challenge at the February UHS Adult Wellness Class
UHS Stay Healthy will be kicking off the American Heart Association's Check It! Challenge at a free Adult Wellness Class on February 5 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. The class will be held at the Stay Healthy Center in the Oakdale Mall.
Enid Nixon, FNP-C from the UHS Heart and Vascular Institute will be presenting on the dangers of uncontrolled hypertension. Following her presentation, attendees will be able to sign up for the Challenge which runs from February till May.
The Challenge consists of taking your blood pressure at least two times per month and logging into the AMA's Tracker: ccctracker.com/UHS
All attendees who sign up for the Challenge at class will be entered into a raffle for a free blood pressure monitor. Five monitors will be given out.
