Heart Saver Saturday

Could you save a life if you had to? Do you have the skills and do you know where to begin? Now is your chance to learn how to step in when someone is stricken with a heart episode, as UHS offers you an opportunity to become a true "Heartsaver."

Heartsaver CPR AED is a community level program. Heartsaver is a video-based, instructor-led course that teaches people the critical skills they need to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrives.

Participants will learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the use of an automated external defibrillator.

UHS will offer this training to the public free of charge in a "Heartsaver Saturday" program happening Saturday, February 22 at 33 Lewis Road, Binghamton NY, 13905. No previous clinical experience is required. Advance registration is required as space is limited.

Check-in will run from 7:30 am. to 8:00 am. The program begins promptly at 8:00 am.

Please park in front of the first building closest to Lewis Road. Enter main entrance.

In case of inclement weather program will be held on Saturday, February 29. Must be 14 years of age and over to participate.

Please note: This is a CPR/AED class only, we will not be providing any Basic First Aide instruction. No previous clinical experience is required. This is a non-professional community level of CPR.
