Employees recognized for 10 and 15 years of service
More than 300 employees, supervisors, spouses and guests enjoyed an evening of camaraderie and recognition Feb. 8 when UHS hosted the 2019 Service Awards Dinner for 10- and 15-year UHS Hospitals milestone employees.
The dinner was held in the grand ballroom of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in downtown Binghamton.
A total of 170 employees with 10 years of service and 82 employees with 15 years of service received recognition pins at the event, called “Celebrating Our Stars.”
“Those of you in this room are among our leaders and up-and-coming leaders,” John Carrigg, president and chief executive officer of UHS, told the milestone staff. “Through your fidelity to your jobs, the experience you have acquired and the values you hold dear, you are setting a wonderful example for the newer members of our team to follow.”
The honorees can take pride in knowing that their contributions are critical to the success of UHS, their efforts are crucial to providing patient-centered care and they have earned the respect of their peers, he said.
Another awards dinner will be held in November to honor employees with 20 years and more of service.at Xpedia // ").attr("src",e.media.m).appendTo("#images")})})} // ]]>
