Description

UHS Hospitals is offering free monthly seminars on healthy eating, active living and wellness. Programs are free. Each month a different health and wellness topic will be presented by health care professionals. Focus of the seminars will be on common goals for health and well-being. Healthy living advice and tips will be offered to participants. Seating is limited. Registration is required.

Topic this month: Skin Cancer: You Can Prevent It!

One in Five Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime.  Early detection, what to look for and how to perform proper self exams will be included in this discussion.  Are all sunscreens and fabrics created equal?  Is there a safe way to tan?  Learn how you can significantly lower your risk of skin cancer in this presentation with UHS Dermatologist, Dr. Sienkiewicz.
