Facemasks required when entering any UHS facility
Earlier this week Gov. Andrew Cuomo put forth an executive order mandating that all New York state residents over the age of two, who are able to medically handle a face covering, are required to cover their nose and mouth with a mask or cloth face-covering when in a public space and unable to maintain, or when not maintaining, social distance. Given this mandate, we wanted to remind everyone that anyone coming to any of our facilities for an appointment must be wearing a face mask.
We ask that the masks must be ready and put on before entering our facility. The masks are about protecting the wearer and about keeping others around you safe. The idea, according to the CDC, is to keep people who may have the virus, but don’t know it, from spreading it to others.
Thank you in advance for following this order and helping us protect our patients, providers and staff.
