UHS Chenango Memorial Nurse Recertifications

March 22, 2019

Vice President of Nursing at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital, Dave Finney- RN, and members of the hospital’s medical staff, gathered together to celebrate the recent achievement of its nurses.

Dave stated “I continue to be amazed at the continuing effort and spirit that UHS Chenango Memorial Nurses put into bettering their skills for the benefit of the community and our patients.”  Dave continued to explain, “Each of our UHS recognized nurses holds a national certification in their specialty.  As expected, these certifications require intense study followed by an exam.  Recertification requires them to keep current on all changes in their field of study through coursework and/or re-testing.  Their dedication to their professional practice is recognized and applauded.  We, at UHS Chenango Memorial, feel they are priceless!”

An enlarged check was placed in the nurse training department to help celebrate the moment; the check stated that our nurses are priceless.  Dave Finney presented the check and flowers to eleven UHS Chenango Memorial Nurses that recently completed their recertification.
