Relax at the December Adult Wellness Seminar

Join UHS for an evening on using essential oils, aromatherapy and massage to help manage holiday stress! This FREE UHS Adult Wellness Seminar is happening Wednesday, December 4 at 6pm at the UHS Stay Healthy Center in the Oakdale Mall.

Topics covered include:

  • Aromatherapy for the Holidays: Natural ways to reduce Holiday Stress: Abby is a RN, Certified Aromatherapist and Certified Integrative Energy Practitioner. During this very busy, and often times stressful time of year, Abby will be sharing with you ideas on how to de-stress using essential oils. She will also be touching on energy balance and ideas on how to ground and center This will be a hands on class. You will be making an essential oil blend for yourself to take home with you.
  • Benefits of Massage Therapy: Melanie Cease is a UHS employee and Licensed Massage Therapist. Melanie graduated from the Finger Lakes School of Massage. Her “massage journey” began with her observation of the effects of chronic muscular-skeletal issues and her desire to find a holistic approach to help this population. Melanie explains massage can help to alleviate or reduce pain and can be complimentary to other therapeutic treatments and types of pain management. Other benefits of massage include reducing stress, improving sleep and flexibility.
