Dunkin’ presents 2019 Iced Coffee Day donations check to the UHS Foundation

June 26, 2019

Dunkin’ presented a check for $9,016 to the UHS Foundation on Wednesday, June 26, 2019.

“Dunkin’s Iced Coffee Day was a great success and it’s exciting to be able to give back to the community,” said Dunkin’ Integration Marketing Manager Eric Stensland. “The UHS Foundation does such valuable work and we are pleased to help support their efforts with this check for $9,016.”

Proceeds from the Iced Coffee Day benefit the Underserved Women & Children Fund. This fund helps remove barriers to care, which range from language and cultural differences, to challenges associated with the economically disadvantaged population.

“A healthy community is critical to the overall success of the Southern Tier. Additional support will help ensure the health and well-being of all our local area families,” said Cory Jacobs, UHS Foundation Executive Director.

Each year generous donors have helped the UHS Foundation raise more than $1 million. These contributions have also helped to support a variety of needs, such as:

  • Support for the New Horizons’ addiction treatment program for pregnant women.
  • Motivational music system for patients at Binghamton General Hospital.
  • Enhanced vision screeners for UHS pediatrics offices.
  • Security upgrades at Binghamton General Hospital.
