With the average supermarket containing over 45,000 different food items to choose from, grocery shopping can be frustrating and stressful. Or it can be fun, economical and healthful.

UHS can help you turn around your shopping experience with the next in its series of free "Adult Wellness Seminars," scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 6 p.m. at the Wegman’s grocery store in Johnson City. Here’s your chance to ask about the products you purchase. Learn healthful, practical and budget-friendly ways to make your good-eating journey easier and more satisfying.

The grocery store session will include how to read a food label, plus a question-and-answer period at the end. UHS dietetic experts Jaclyn Zindell, RD; Marisa Larkin, RD; and Kelly Read, RD, will be on hand to provide helpful information.

(This seminar is eligible for use as a UHS health insurance wellness activity; Adult Wellness Seminars reward $25 each for employees covered by UHS health insurance.)
