Dr. Lerrick to present scientific papers in Atlanta

Portrait image of Dr. LerrickAndrew Lerrick, MD, ENT/facial plastic surgeon at UHS, will present three scientific papers at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, in Atlanta, Oct. 7 to 10.

Dr. Lerrick is the author of the first two presentations, “Cystectomy via Parotidotomy” and “Disruption of Irradiated Cervical Esophageal Mucosa During Bougie Dilation Due to a Squilgee Effect.”

Greg Faughnan, a student at SUNY Upstate Medical University, was Dr. Lerrick’s co-author on the third paper, “Unexpected Additional Ear Foreign Bodies.”

Dr. Lerrick practices in Wilson Square on the campus of UHS Wilson Medical Center.

He received his medical degree from the medical school of the Mount Sinai Health System in New York City and completed a residency at Columbia University and fellowships at Washington University and Northwestern University.

He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
