Diabetes Event at UHS Delaware Valley Hospital

October 19, 2018

You’ve seen the ads on TV about continuous glucose monitors. They sound wonderful and it would be great to be able to avoid so many finger sticks. If you have questions about them, this diabetes event is your opportunity to learn about them and to talk to someone who uses one. You will see what a CGM (continuous glucose monitor) looks like and learn how using one can improve your diabetes control. We will review the criteria for qualifying for a CGM through Medicare or Medicaid and will discuss private insurance as well.

The program will be held at the UHS Delaware Valley Hospital’s Wellness Room in the Finance building at 20 West St. in Walton on November 13. We will have a presentation on CGM at 4:00 P.M. and 5:30 P.M. We will provide snacks after the presentations. After each presentation, we will accept general diabetes questions.  You can come and go as you wish. Come and get your questions answered and enjoy talking to others with diabetes as well. There is no cost to you for this program.

Space is limited so you must pre-register by calling 607-865-2706 by Nov. 9.
