April 16 is decision day for advance directives
UHS is joining with other health and human services organizations to observe National Healthcare Decisions Day on Monday, April 16.
The day is set aside to encourage families across America to have conversations about their healthcare decisions and to complete advance directives, documents that will make their wishes known.
The UHS Palliative Medicine Team on April 16 will have an information table in the Decker Lobby of UHS Wilson Medical Center.
Team members will be able to answer questions from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. For more information about advance directives and National Healthcare Decisions Day, visit www.nhdd.org.
