Advanced Trauma Life Support® (ATLS) provides the essential information and skills that the physician may apply to the identification and treatment of life-threatening or potentially life-threatening injuries.
This two-day course is designed to teach the physician a rapid, systematic method of assessing for life threatening traumatic injuries and prioritized lifesaving management skills in a standardized approach to trauma care in the initial “Golden Hour” following a traumatic event.

Program Goals
The Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) course provides its participants with a safe and reliable method for the immediate treatment and the basic knowledge necessary to:
- Assess a patient’s condition rapidly and accurately.
- Resuscitate and stabilize patients according to priority.
- Determine whether a patient’s needs exceed a facility’s resources and / or physician’s capabilities.
- Arrange appropriately for a patient’s interhospital or intrahospital transfer.
- Assure that optimum care is provided and that the level of care does not deteriorate at any point during the evaluation, resuscitation, or transfer process.

Student Course registration is limited to 16 students. Due to the need to study pre-course materials, early registration is encouraged.
We cannot guarantee your enrollment until we receive payment information and the completed registration form.
To allow adequate time for study and preparation, course materials will be sent at least three weeks prior to the start of the course. An additional fee of $50 will be incurred for registrations received less than three weeks prior to the course to cover overnight shipping charges for pre-course materials.
An administrative fee of $50 plus book costs will be assessed for any cancellation made greater than 15 days prior to the course. No refund will be issued for cancellations made less than 15 days prior to the start of the course.
