UHS is your guide to fitness apps
Trying to get fit?
While there's definitely an app for that, how do you find the best one for you?
UHS will present a free seminar on nutrition and exercise in the digital age on Wednesday, May 3, at 6 p.m., at the UHS Stay Healthy Center, Oakdale Mall.
In a world where smart-phone wellness applications number in the thousands, it's hard to figure out which source of information is the most reliable.
But now it's registered dietitian Kelvin Lee and exercise physiologists Christopher Clinehens and Tyler Kettle to the rescue.
Kelvin will discuss the latest and most reliable apps for managing your nutritional life, while Christopher and Tyler will provide insights into the role of technology in overall health and wellness.
Advance registration is required, as seating is limited; call 763-5092 or register online here.
