UHS Home Care Earns National HomeCare Elite Distinction

UHS Home Care continues to earn distinction within the home health industry.  The company has been named among the Top 500 of the 2013 HomeCare Elite™, a compilation of the top-performing home health agencies in the United States. UHS Home Care is one of only 5 home health agencies in all of New York State to be recognized as 2013 Top 500 HomeCare Elite™.
HomeCare Elite identified the top 25 percent of over 10,000 home care agencies nationwide based on an analysis of performance measures including quality of care, quality improvement, patient experience and financial performance. Of those earning HomeCare Elite distinction, UHS Home Care ranked in the top 500 in the nation.

Greg Rittenhouse, UHS Home Care’s Vice President/Chief Operating Officer, stated that the organization has been honored with HomeCare Elite status consistently.  He credits the company’s employees for the high quality care reflected in this honor.  “This recurring recognition paid to UHS Home Care is testament to the dedication of the entire home care team and the excellent service they provide to our patients each day.” 

UHS Home Care has been providing home care services and medical products to the greater Binghamton community for more than two decades.  It is licensed by the New York State Department of Health and certified by Medicare. The organization offers in-home nursing, physical, occupational, speech, sleep and respiratory/oxygen therapy, home medical equipment and an array of additional services for people recovering from illness, surgery or recent hospitalization and for those living with chronic disease. Their home care professionals serve people throughout Central and Southern New York, including Broome, Chenango, Tioga and Delaware counties.
