The first sign, installed on the front of the building, will be followed by signs installed on the east and west facing sides of the building. The LED lighted letters are each hung individually, weighing around 100lbs.

About the Project

The Wilson Project in Johnson City will develop a new regional medical center: a six-story, state-of-the-art clinical tower on the campus of UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City.  Facing Main Street, the six-story, 183,000-square-foot, Wilson Main Tower will be the “front door” to UHS’ services going forward, and will feature a new trauma center and emergency department, a MRI suite, four inpatient units with private patient rooms, a surgical support area and a new roof-top helipad.

This is the first expansion of the UHS Wilson Medical Center campus in more than 30 years.  The Wilson Project will make Johnson City’s UHS Wilson a true complement to Binghamton University’s Health Sciences Campus, with the two facilities standing adjacent to each other in the heart of the Johnson City Health & Cultural District.
